Project Lead

Full time – permanent
37.5 hours Monday – Friday
Location- Melbourne, DE73 8DS

The project lead is the person who takes a project from the ‘quote agreed’ stage to installation on site. This is a full-time post.

You need to be able to work with stock items as far as possible making compromises to ensure that all projects going out in the same time period have furniture that will work. The environment we work in can be fast paced. We may be sending out several projects a week and we work on very short timelines. The ability to work quickly, accurately and cheerfully under pressure is essential.

The day-to-day tasks include:

  • Designing a scheme for each property
  • Allocating furniture, art and accessories from stock
  • Creating mood boards for the installation team to work from
  • Ordering & collecting window dressings from our local supplier
  • Choosing new furniture, artwork and accessories when stock is low and liaising with the admin team to order
  • Working with the Warehouse team to ensure furniture etc is ready for dispatch to site
  • Working with the removals team on the day of installation to ensure every item goes on the van/s
  • Delivering furniture to property alongside the removal team and allocating items to each room ahead of the installation team arrival
  • Creating the inventory and furniture price list for each property
  • Packing and collecting furniture from properties
  • Updating the inventory database

The role is office and warehouse based. We are looking for someone who is;

  • Highly organised
  • A team player
  • Has a good interior style ‘eye’
  • Flexible and able to compromise
  • Able to work quickly and accurately using cloud based systems
  • Able to work under pressure in a fast paced environment
  • Confident and flexible to travel to customer sites frequently, full driving licence required
