Like 2020, 2021 was heavily affected by the Covid-19 pandemic particularly with the emergence of multiple new variants. For Lemon and Lime this meant we had to alter a few things in order to continue providing our top-quality home staging service to each and every one of our clients.
It wasn’t all doom and gloom as we managed to squeeze in many employee birthdays, weddings, celebrations and a Christmas party!
We’ve pulled together some of our best bits here…
We transformed over 80 properties nationally, working with a number of estate agents, developers and clients to improve the appeal of properties both physically and online for potential buyers.
We won multiple awards including The National Business Women’s Award for a micro-business and a silver award for small business at the Best Business Women Awards. We have also been recognised within the home staging industry with the Contribution to Leadership Award from the Home Staging Association UK and Ireland, Influential Leader from the Real Estate Staging Association (RESA) and national and international property transformation awards.
And we celebrated our achievements with our hardworking team.
As a business we featured in over 50 national publications including The Daily Express, Estate Agent Today, The Sun, Real Homes Magazine, Your Home Magazine and The Telegraph, each raising the profile of Home Staging as an industry in the UK.
Elaine joined the panel discussion at the Home Staging Association Forum and Awards.
Elaine was asked to join the Christopher Watkin Youtube series tackling a variety of topics and addressing some of the fears estate agents and vendors have about using a professional home staging service.
We got our newly branded van out on the roads.
We racked out one of our warehouses and sorted through 596 cushions!
Our team continued to expand.
We continued to support Staunton Harold Sailability Trust through a Christmas donation instead of sending cards and gifts. It’s a cause very close to Elaine’s heart particularly in the wake of lockdowns and the pandemic, many charitable funds have been targeted at ‘Covid’ specific projects so it has been hard for the Trust to attract outside funding. We are delighted to continue to support this great cause to help disabled sailors get out onto the water more regularly enjoying a fabulous sport with their families.
And finally, we drank a lot of coffee and of course we ate a lot of cake!
We can’t wait to see what 2022 has in store for Lemon and Lime!
We would like to thank all of our estate agent partners, developers, vendors, suppliers and friends a very happy Christmas. Stay safe and we look forward to working with you all again in the new year.
