As we near the end of 2023, it’s a perfect moment to reflect upon the incredible journey we’ve had at Lemon and Lime this year. It has been marked by growth, creativity, and an unwavering commitment to transforming spaces to accelerate home sales.

Here’s a glimpse into the highlights that defined our year:

Growth:

Our team continues to grow with the appointment of 2 new staging consultants and a new sales and marketing support member, taking our team up to 12.

We have increased the amount of stock we own by taking on a second warehouse in the North of England, to better service our Northern clients. This takes our storage capacity to 12500 square feet housing over 10,000 items of furniture not including all our accessories and artwork.

Our fabulous projects:

We’ve had the privilege of working on a myriad of projects, each more unique than the last. From cosy apartments to luxurious estates, our staging endeavours have spanned diverse styles and settings. Our team’s creativity knew no bounds as we brought life and allure to every space we touched. The true measure of our success lies in the quick sale of the properties we work on and the satisfaction of our clients. We take immense pride in contributing to successful property sales and witnessing the joy of homeowners as their spaces transform into captivating, market-ready homes which quickly attract a buyer.

Milestones & Achievements:

Acknowledgment in national publications, including The Sunday Times, The Daily Express, Ideal Home Country Living and Woman and Home to name but a few, highlighted our dedication and expertise, raising the profile of Home Staging as an industry in the UK. Elaine’s active participation in panel discussions, podcasts, radio, and an international staging course in Florence, Italy, demonstrated our commitment to industry leadership.

Industry Recognition:

Our accomplishments were further solidified by being finalists in the Innovation category in The Great British Entrepreneur Awards as well as The Negotiator Awards in the marketing supplier category.

Elaine and Kirsty took on the responsibility for judging two categories in this year’s Home Staging Association Awards.

Following Elaine’s appearance on stage talking about data at the International Association of Home Staging professionals in New Orleans in February strengthening our international connections in the staging world, it was great to have our friends, IAHSP president Jenny and her husband John, Cindy of Staged4More and Daniel Coffman of StagedSpaces visit and spend time with us. We have learned so much about staging in other parts of the world this year and we’re looking forward to putting it into practice in 2024.

Community Engagement:

Our commitment to our community extends beyond transforming spaces. We believe in giving back, whether it be participating in local events or supporting charitable causes, Lemon and Lime are an active contributor to the communities we serve.

We sponsored the nationally renowned Arts Trail in Melbourne, our local village, in September. Elaine was proud to be asked to judge the Best Dressed Window competition for the village Christmas festivities cementing our place as a recognisable brand locally as well as nationally!

We continue to support Staunton Harold Sailability Trust which helps disabled sailors get out onto the water. It means they can more regularly enjoy a fabulous sport with their families through our Christmas donation, this seems more relevant to us than sending cards and gifts.

Sustainability:

We planted 13 trees in Kenya and 43 trees in Tanzania through Tree-Nation, contributing to community welfare and offsetting our carbon footprint. Various sustainable practices implemented throughout our business underline our commitment to environmental responsibility. Our total carbon emissions offset is 7.1t CO2.

Partnerships:

We’ve continued to develop relationships with businesses that we believe are a good fit for our clients as they move in and out of their homes: Castle Fine Art, Arlo & Jacob, Hypnos, Luume, James Mayor Home, BLOCC and Luxury cottages.

We also had lots of fun:

Stepping into the new year, Lemon and Lime will be embracing the lessons learned so far, celebrating successes, and forging ahead with our ambitious goals. Anticipate Elaine’s new book coming soon in 2024, expansion of our operations team, and continued growth. A heartfelt thank you to our Estate Agent partners, Developers, Vendors, Suppliers, and friends for being integral to our incredible 2023 journey.
