This month, we chat with Georgie Lower, a Senior Executive Assistant from Luxury Property Partners (LLP). She is a highly skilled expert and specialist in the marketing and sale of premium homes. We asked her 8 questions to obtain further insight into the person who is passionate about property.
1. Can you tell us about your business and what sets it apart from others in the industry?
Working in partnership with Luxury Property Partners has opened my eyes to the level of teaching and coaching agents in the real estate industry should be provided to become a high performing agent. We are seeking to raise the standards in the industry and provide the knowledge, and environment for agents to grow and develop into true professionals.
There is 100% a shift happening in the real estate game, where many agents are moving from the traditional model to a self-employed bespoke service model which is brilliant. However, unfortunately there are still gaps in agents’ knowledge regarding marketing and sales. This is something Luxury Property Partners are taking pride in with each agent that comes into the business, and I am very proud to say I am a part of each agent’s journey to success.
2. Have you ever noticed anything particularly memorable or impressive while house hunting or attending open houses?
Unfortunately, when I have been house hunting personally, I have never been impressed by the service given. It is often a 10-minute walk through alone of the property and then ‘call if you want to make an offer’ at the end. However, I have been present at some Open House Events through some of the LPP agents, and the atmosphere that is created is fantastic – it is truly an ‘Event’ – everything is thought of – down to the lighting, temperature, smell, sound and accessibility to an agent for further details. It is important to sell the lifestyle, not just the home.
3. Which famous person (dead or alive) would you invite to a dinner party and why?
Great question. This is particularly hard as I would love to pick the brains of many individuals – but if I am being honest with myself, it would be incredible to invite Sir David Attenborough. He has seen some incredible things that no one will ever get to see and places I will never probably visit. He would be a brilliant dinner party guest with many stories!
4. If you could live anywhere in the world, where would it be and why?
If all my family could come with me, I would have to say Australia. I love the sun and hate the cold weather and to have access to a beach in the evening would be incredible!
5. What’s one talent or skill you’ve always wanted to learn?
My background is acting, and I would love to have continued to perfect the craft – performing to a live audience is a fantastic adrenaline rush – so if I was to choose anything it would be to learn how to become a better actress with many different skills (accents would be a cool one to master).
6. What’s the most adventurous thing you’ve ever done?
I would have to admit I am not the most adventurous when it comes to wild, crazy things – but I have done a few waterfall hikes in various locations in Thailand which were phenomenal and sometimes did not feel the safest but incredibly worth it for the scenic views!
7. What’s something you hope to accomplish on your bucket list someday?
I would love to build my dream home from scratch with my family.
8. What is the best piece of advice you have ever received?
Don’t be the 99% – be the 1%
